Trail Map and Courses
Madarao is famous for its legendary "Madapow"—the deep, dry powder snow that Japan is renowned for. What truly sets Madarao apart, though, is its exceptional tree skiing. Over 60% of the runs are left ungroomed to preserve the natural powder conditions. Unlike many ski areas, tree runs at Madarao are officially sanctioned and maintained, offering some of the best lift-accessed powder and tree skiing in the country. Whether you're a seasoned powder hound or new to off-piste riding, Madarao’s combination of fresh snow and perfectly spaced trees makes for an unforgettable ride.
